Graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration and Sociology. In 1990 he graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego. The first ten years of his attorney life involved defending insurance companies in personal injury and workers compensation claims. Additionally, Mr. Sexton's practice includes Living Wills and Trusts, Family law/Divorce, Bankruptcy and Criminal law/DUI. He now represents injured persons applying the "secrets" learned from the defense (dark) side. Mr. Sexton participated in the 1979 Pan American Games as a swimmer and qualified for the 1980 Olympics, but did not participate due to the boycott. Mr Sexton also speaks Spanish.
