DRIVING SAFETY TIP OF THE MONTH Be a courteous and defensive driver. Maintain a safe speed and safe following distance. Signal your moves and use your horn and lights appropriately. Try not to offend other drivers by cutting them off, tailgating or driving slowly in the left lanes. _____________________________________ Why “Road Rage” Is Such A Safety Hazard To Your Family…
“Road rage” is a term that gets thrown around quite a bit these days. We hear on the evening news about motorists who are physically assaulted by other drivers, people who get so angry on the road that they just lose control of themselves.
But what we don’t hear about on the news, most likely because it isn’t as sensational as road rage weaker cousin, known as aggressive driving.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), aggressive driving is “the operation of a motor vehicle in a manner that endangers or is likely to endanger persons or property.”
So, if you see someone on the road driving aggressive or unsafe simply take down there license plate or call 911 from your cell phone. _____________________________ I was arrested for misdemeanor hit and run, because I left the scene of a car accident, and also for drunk driving. I don’t know how he did it, but Mr. Sexton got all the charges dismissed and now I have no criminal record. Thank you Sexton Law Firm! Sara Florez
